This story will probably be one the most relatable ones I’ll write for all ya’ll developers out there. I’m writing this on a Sunday evening three weeks after I set a deadline for myself to “finish” and release my personal website. Professionally I’m more the type of person to not start something if it’s not completely fleshed out or doesn’t have any content yet. When it comes to my personal projects I do however tend to care less about preparation but rather just go with the flow.
So when remix.run went public there was this itch for me to scratch I just needed the find the right concept to start hacking. After thinking about it for it what I think must have been at least 10 whole minutes I decided that a personal website should be a good fit. It covered all aspects I wanted to check out with Remix and I felt it could be welcome addition to have a personal site at this point in my life.
Now keep in mind that this isn’t my first attempt to create a personal website, so at this point I have a pretty clear overview of what I’d want for my personal site but other than that it’s all a blank canvas.
